IRI National Senior Taekwondo Team strongly started the first competitions day with 4 Medals

IRI National Senior Taekwondo Team obtained 4 medals at the first competitions day of the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku- Azerbaijan.
At the first day of the mentioned competitions on May 16th 2017, 5 IRI athletes competed that 4 of them obtained medals and 1 was eliminated.
Female category":
-46 kg:"Fatemeh Madahi" (Bronze Medal)
-53kg:"Nahid Kiani "(Gold Medal)
-57kg: "Tayyebeh Parsa" (Bronze Medal)
Male category
-54kg: "Mahdi Eshaghi" (Gold medal)
-58kg: "Mohammadsadegh Dehghani" (was eliminated)
The mentioned event will be continued on May 17th 2017 as follow:
-49kg: "Soodabeh Poorsadeghi"/ -67kg: "Parisa Javadi"/ +73kg: "Akram Khodabandeh" in female category and -68kg: "Seyyed hossein Ehsani", -80kg: "Alireza Darvishpoor", -87kg: "Hossein Ghorbanzedeh" in male category.
The mentioned female team has been participating in the mentioned event under the leadership of its head coach- "Mahroo Komrani" and its coach- "Fatemeh Safarpoor", and the male team has been taking part under the leadership of its head coach- "Fariborz Askari" and its coaches- "Mohammad Boshagh" and "Mahdi Ahmadi".
