Mostean won a Silver medal after 8 years of expectation
Hadi Mostean entered the final round after 5 wins and finally was beaten by his Korean rival with 1 point difference.
Mostean was the first athlete who could win medal for Iran in his weight division after 8 years. The last Iranian athlete who could win a medal in this division was Behzad Khodadad.
Mexico and Brazil both won the Bronze medal in this weight division. 872 athletes from 134 countries participated in 21st world TKD championships and our National team participated in this event with 8 male and 4 female athletes.
