Daedo E-Head Gear will be officially tested at Trelleborg and US Opens 2014

During the workshop that WTF Technical Committee held last week (13-15 January) in Muju, Korea, the members of this relevant group gave the green light to the first two test events of the Electronic Head Gear designed by Daedo: the first one will take place on occasion of the Trelleborg Open, scheduled for the 8th and 9th of February, while the second one will be held during the US Open 2014 (19-23 February).
The official test events of the Daedo Electronic Head Gear will only comprise the Junior categories of each competition, as it is not a WTF approved product yet and cannot be used in official competitions that are rewarded with WTF Ranking points.
As the WTF President, Dr Chungwon Choue, stated early this year during an interview in Korea, the main goal of the Taekwondo governing body worldwide is to use the Electronig Head Gear in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games competition. This is the objective that has led the WTF Technical Committee to officially convene these two test events.
