Iranian Stars Shining in 25th Fajr Cup



25th Fajr Cup was concluded with the championship of Iran representatives.
The closing ceremony of this event was held on 26 Feb. 2014 in Taekwondo House with the presence of the Minister of Sport and Youth, Dr. Goudarzi, the Secretary General of ATU, Dr. Kim, Mr. Pouladgar, the President of I.R. Iran TKD Federation, Mr. Zolghadri, the Secretary General of Iran TKD Federation, and all representatives of the participating countries.

According to the final results, Steel Alborz team from Iran stood on the first place with 2 Gold medals, 1 Silver medal and 37 points.

Alborz carpet team from Iran gained the second standing with 1 Gold medal and 2 Bronze Medals, and the third standing went to Azerbaijan team with 1 Gold medal, 1 Silver medal and 23 points.

The fourth to tenth team rankings went to Afghanistan team, Shahid Ghourchani team from Iran, team of Armenia, team of Tunisia, team of Iraq, team of India and team of Russia respectively.


According to the ranking of the countries, Iran grabbed the first place with 45 points, Azerbaijan the second place with 23, and Afghanistan the third place with 15 points.
Iraq, Tunisia, India and Russia were placed in the fourth to eighth standings respectively.

Mohammad Hamami from Tunisia was selected as the best head of team, Morteza Soltani from Steel Alborz team was chosen as the best coach, Mohamad Dashti from Kuwait and Mohammad Nozari from Iran were announced as the best referees and the title of the most technical athlete went to Rabik Isaov from Azerbaijan.
