Iranian Female Athletes will participate in CISM
The qualification camp of the National team for participation in the World Military Taekwondo Championships was held on 17 April 2014 in Taekwondo House.
Ali Khalili said,'22nd World Military Taekwondo Championships will be hosted by Iran on 14 August for the third time. A 3-month camp will be held for the selected athletes and we plan to send them to an International Tournament to prepare them for CISM.'
Khalili added,' for the first time, we are going to have Poomsae in the events program and female athletes will participate as well as male.'
The technical officials of our team in CISM are supervised by Mohammad Zavar, and Morteza Soltani is appointed as the head coach of the team.
25 countries are going to participate in this event and the organizing committee is doing its best to provide suitable accommodation and transportation.
I.R. Iran Ministry of Defense is hosting 22nd World Military Taekwondo Championships and all the expenses except flight tickets will be covered by the organizing committee.
Finally, Khalili mentioned,' the technical side of this event will be supported and observed by I.R. Iran Taekwondo Federation.'
