One more Youth Olympic Quota for Iran
Danial Salehimehr succeeded in winning the quota for the Youth Olympic Games due to the reduction of host country place.
The Qualification Tournament of Youth Olympic was held in Chinese Taipei in March 2014. Male and female athletes competed for winning the Youth Olympic quota for 2 days. 6 athletes participated in this Tournament from Iran.
Mahsa Jeddi and Mohammad Aslani could win the quota but WTF informed I.R. Iran TKD Federation that Danial Salehimehr, the athlete of 4th weight category, could also win a quota due to reduction of host country place. Iran, therefore, will participate in the Youth Olympic Games with 3 representatives.
Youth Olympic Games will be held on 17-21 August 2014 in Nanjing, China.
