WTF Signs Co-branded PSS Agreement with ADIDAS and KP&P
The World Taekwondo Federation has signed an agreement with adidas and KP&P for a co-branded protector and scoring system (PSS).
The co-branded PSS supplants the KP&P-branded PSS. The underlying technology remains the same.
The WTF recognized the KP&P PSS in January 2013. The WTF has also recognized the Daedo International PSS, beginning in February 2010.
In June 2009, the WTF used the PSS at the 2009 WTF World Cup Taekwondo Team Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan for the first time in its history. Then the PSS was used at the 2009 WTF World Taekwondo Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark in October 2009 and at the taekwondo competition of the 2012 London Olympic Games.
