CISM Taekwando Competitions, Tehran
Iran powerfully became the champion for the fourth time.
The third and last days of the CISM Taekwando contests came to an end where Iran's team won 4gold and one. bronze medals and the total scores of 58 powerfully won the world title.
According the public relations of the CISM competitions headquarter 22nd CISM competitions hosted by the Ministry of Defense of I.R. of Iran in association with Iran's Taekwando Federation with the participation of 100 athletes from 18 countries from Saturday in Men part and finished on Tuesday. These contests were held in class G1 and its score is considered in Olympics ranking. At the final day of the competitions on Tuesday, contestants of -68 kg and -80 kg fought in Taekwando House and at the end of -68 kg Foyeng from China won a gold medal Alrashaed from Qatar won a silver medal and Reza Habibi from Iran together with Mokhitiyo from Russia won the bronze medal. in -80 kg, Milad Beygi from Iran won a gold medal, Hamid Abdolrahim from Qatar won a silver nedal and Yerminian from Armenia together with Jabir from Jordan won a bronze medal. Therefore at the end of these contests, national team of Iran won 4 gold medals (by Abolfazl Yaqobi, Mohammad Kzemi, Milad Beygi, Omid Amidi) and one bronze medal by Reza Habibi and total score of 58 powerfully won the first rank and celebrated its fourth championships. Team China won 2 gold medals, one silver and one bronze and got the second rank and team Brazil won one gold, 2 silvers and 2 bronze and total score of 40 became third. -31 to 40 years old individual 1- Ali Salmani scored 15.7 2- Orj Agodela from Colombia 3- Louise Nasimento scored 10.43 It should be told that Iran's women team won 4 fold medals, one silver and 3 bronze and in conclusion became the best.
