9th WTF World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships Aguascalientes 2014
9th WTF World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships will be held in Aguascalientes, Mexico from October 30 to November 2, 2014.
This 9th edition of the WTF World Poomsae Taekwondo Championships will feature cadet divisions as well as an over and under 65 year old division.
Freestyle Poomsae was introduced at the 2012 7th WTF World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in Tunja, Colombia and has since grown into a very popular competition format. For this year's World Championships freestyle competitions will for the first time be held in two age categories (under and over 17 years old).
The number of athletes competing in the WTF World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships has been steadily increasing since the inauguration in 2006 and it is hoped that the Championships in Aguascalientes will be another great success in the history of World Poomsae Championships.
