Taekwondo Competitions concluded with 4 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze for Iran
At the end of Taekwondo Competitions in 17th Asian Games in Incheon, 11 Taekwondo athletes from Iran succeeded in winning 7 medals in both male and female categories.
Iran Taekwondo delegation grabbed 4 Gold medals in the male category under the supervision of Bijan Moghanlou, head coach, and Mahdi Bibak and Mehrdad Yousefi, coaches. In the previous edition of Asian Games, Iran male team could achieve 3 Gold and 1 Bronze. In the female category, Iran seized 2 Silver and 1 Bronze under the supervision of Minoo Maddah, head coach, and Parvaneh Tehrani, coach. Sirouz Rezaie and Parvaneh Taheri were also invited to this event as International Referees.
