The First Ranked Athlete Defeated by Khodabakhshi



Mahdi Khodabakhshi snatched the Gold medal of 3rd Grand Prix, Machester.
Khodabakhshi overwhelmed the representatives of Tunisia 5-4, Uzbekistan 5-3, Armenia 3-0 and Iran's Masoud Hajizavareh 9-5.
On the final round, he faced Aaron Cook, number one on WTF Olympic ranking, and after trouncing him 13-11 he grabbed the Gold medal of -80 kg weight category.
Mahdi is also the Gold medalist of 2nd Grand Prix which was held in Khazakhstan, 2014.
