Hajizavareh Grabbed the Bronze Medal
At the end of the match between two representatives of Iran in 3rd Grand Prix, Manchester Masoud Hajizavared won the Bronze medal while Mahdi Khodabakhshi advanced to the final round in -80 kg weight category.
On the second day of Grand Prix, Manchester, Hajizavareh entered the semi final round after beating his opponents from Brazil 3-0, England 8-7 and Uzbekistan 6-2.
In the semi final, however, he was beaten by Mahdi Khodabakhshi 5-3.
By winning the Bronze medal of this G4 event Masoud added 14.4 points to his Olympic rankings.
