Iran's Outstanding Achievement in GP Final
All 4 representatives of Iran in Grand Prix Final succeeded in winning medals in this significant event which was held in Queretaro on 3-4 Dec. 2014.
The representatives of Iran in GP Final were Farzan Ashourzadeh, ranked 6 in 1st Olympic weight category, Behnam Asbaghi, ranked 3 in 2nd Olympic weight category, Mahdi Khodabakhshi, ranked 4 in 3rd Olympic weight category and Sajad Mardani, ranked 7 in 4th Olympic weight category.
Farzan Ashourzadeh grabbed the Gold medal, Mahdi Khobakhshi seized the Silver and Behnam Asbaghi and Sajad Mardani could win Bronze medals.
Bijan Moghanlou accompanied the team as head coach and Mahdi Bibak and Mehrdad Yousefi as coaches. Hafez Mahdavi was also invited to this event as international referee.
