Global Taekwondo Masters Training Program



The Kukkiwon is holding Global Taekwondo Masters Training Program in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Republic of Korea and the Korea Olympic Committee (KOC) since 2014.

MNAs are requested to introduce talented candidates who are interested in the 2016 Global Taekwondo Masters Training Program.
The Global Taekwondo Masters Training Program is special program that aims to consolidate international Taekwondo cooperation via global Taekwondo networking as well as provision of an in-depth insight in the area of global Taekwondo serving as a way of preparation for future readership positions.
The Global Taekwondo Masters Training Program is operated by World Taekwondo Academy (WTA) of the Kukkiwon. The education will be held from September to October 2016. All students should stay at Taekwondowon in Muju, Korea during this program.
The six-week Global Taekwondo Masters Training Program embraces wide range of taekwondo curriculum, composed of following various 4 themes, and extra-curricular activities. The education will be conducted in English (or Korean in several training classes).
For those who successfully complete the course, they will receive “Certificate of Taekwondo Master Completion and Certificate of Taekwondo Master” depending on their holding Dan ranks by the Kukkiwon.
The program is offering all cost of education, accommodations and flight tickets including the taekwondo uniform and equipments.
MNAs are requested to recommend at least 2 ~3 candidates and the qualifications for the applicants are as follows:
■ Hold at least 3th Dan Certificate (Kukkiwon)
■ Next generation talents among athletes and current taekwondo administrators
■ Have a sufficient command of both spoken and written English to take a classes conducted entirely in English
■ Have potential and passion for Taekwondo development
■ Be in good health both physically and mentally to successfully complete the course
■ Favorable treatment: medalist in the international competition recognized by Kukkiwon/WTF.
The requesting letter for the 2016 program should be sent by April 3, 2015.
