New Uniforms in 2015


Following successful feedback on uniform changes of 2014 World Poomsae Championships, WTF will apply similar changes in sparring competition.

Uniform top shall be white or yellow to signify weight division of competitor. Uniform button shall be red or blue as determined by color of protective shield. Female under 57 kg divisions and male under 68 kg divisions will wear white top and red or blue pants. Female over 57 divisions and male over 68 kg divisions will wear yellow top with red or blue pants.
Uniform will not be dependent on age or rank due to all competitors being of similar age and rank at sparring competition. New uniform will be in use at 2015 WTF World Taekwondo Championships.
