Joint Camp of German National Team in Iran
German National team went through a 10 day joint camp with Iran National team before 22nd World Championships.
German team, that is composed of Sergej Kolb, -54 kg, Levent Tuncat, -58 kg, Tahir Gulec, -80 kg, Alexander Bachmann, -87 kg, and Volker Wodzich, +87 kg, returned to their hometown for a short rest before moving to Russia.
The head coach of Germans, Aziz Acharki, in his interview with Iran Taekwondo Federation said, ‘I chose Iran for camping due to the intensive and strict trainings of Iranian athletes under the supervision of Bijan Moghanloo and Mahdi Bibak and hope we could gain better results after going through this program’.
German athletes enjoyed training in the friendly atmosphere of the camp of Iran National team that prepared them for participation in 22nd World Taekwondo Championships where all athletes do their best for collecting Olympic ranking points to get direct quota of Olympic Games, Rio 2016.
