Mazandaran Children became National Champions in the Male Category
Mazandaran children won the title of the male National Children Championships while Qazvin and Alborz won the second and third places respectively.
23rd male National Children Championships was held on 11 June in Taekwondo House and 239 athletes from the following 30 provinces participated in it:
East Azerbaijan, West Azerbaijan, Ardebil, Isfahan, Alborz, Ilam, Boushehr, Tehran, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Khorasan Razavi, North Khorasan, Khouzestan, Zanjan, Semnan, Fars, Qazvin, Qom, Kordestan, Kerman, Kermanshah, Kohgilouyeh and Boyerahman, Golestan, Gilan, Lorestan, Kish Island, Mazandaran, Markazi, Hormozgan, Hamedan and Yazd. Mazandaran won the title with 4 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals, 1 Bronze medal and 79 points; Qazvin stood on the second place with 3 Gold medals, 3 Silver medals, 1 Bronze medal and 74 points, and Alborz won the third place with 1 Gold medal, 4 Bronze medals and 44 points.
The 4th and 5th places went to Tehran and Hormozgan respectively.
Habib Fattahi from Mazandaran was chosen as the best coach; Mohammad Taha Kazemi from Qazvin received the title of the best athlete; Lotfollah Nikpour from Ardebil was awarded as the best head of team; Mahdi Ghanbari from Zanjan and Mohammad Dolati from Isfahan were chosen as the best referees and finally fair play trophy was awarded to Amir Alizadeh from Hormozgan.
