Omission of 5 Athletes from Camp of the National Team
New phase of the national team camp began on Friday in Taekwondo House, where athletes get prepared for Grand Prix, Moscow.
According to Bijan Moghanlou, head coach of the national team, 5 athletes were omitted for the new camp and the following 11 athletes entered the camp:
Armin Hadipour, Mohammad Kazemi, Farzan Ashourzadeh, Abolfazl Yaghoubi, Behnam Asbaghi, Alireza Nasr Azadani, Farzad Zolghadri, Masoud Hajizavareh, Mahdi Khodabakhshi, Omid Amidi and Sajad Mardani.
The following athletes, however, could not remain in the camp:
Sroush Ahmadi, Mehrdad Nourmohammadi, Seyed Mohammad Rafiei, Farzad Abdollahi and Morteza Shiri.
Moghanlou believes that considering the short time left to Rio 2016, there should be fewer athletes in the camp so that main persons can have more concentrate on their practices.
