Iranian Female Cadets Claimed the Title of the Cadet World Championships for the Second Time
Iran National Female team won the first place of 2nd World Cadet Championships after seizing 5 Gold, 1Silver and 1 Bronze medal in Muju.
This event that was held on 23-26 Aug. brought 467 athletes from 60 countries together.
Iran National Female team consisted of Fatemeh Ebrahimzafeh, Mahla Momenzadeh, Mobina Nejadkatesari, Setareh Chaboki, Narges Hassannia, Mobina Shakeri, Zohreh Hassannataj, Negar pourjamali and Zahra Nasirahmadi.
Russia won the second place with 1 Gold, 2 Silver, 1 Bronze and 48 points and USA got the third place with 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze and 37 points.
4th and 5th places went to South Korea and Turkey respectively.
Mahrou Komrani and Fatemeh Safarpour led the team as head coach and coach, and Neda Rastad and Mahbouneh Mohammadnejad accompanied the team as trainers.
