Iran Para-Taekwondo Team Won the 3rd Place in the World
Iran Para-Taekwondo team succeeded in winning the 3rd place of 2015 World Para-Taekwondo Championships in Samsun, Turkey.
This G-8 event, which was held on 17 Sep. 2015, brought 113 athletes from 38 countries together. In the male category, Russia won the 1st place followed by Azerbaijan that stood on the 2nd place.
The 3rd place went to Iran with 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze medal.
Turkey and Mongolia got the 4th and 5th standings respectively.
In the female category, Russia, Turkey and Azerbaijan received 1st to 3rd places respectively.
The 4th and 5th places went to Denmark and Morocco. Hossein Modanlou led Iran Para-Taekwondo team as head coach.
