11 Iranian Athletes Invited to GP, Manchester
World Taekwondo Federation sent invitation for 11 Iranian athletes for participation in GP, Manchester. Iran Taekwondo Federation will send 9 athletes to this G-4 event which will be held on 16-18 October 2015.
The following athletes are invited to GP, Manchester:
Frzan Ahourzadeh, Behnam Asbaghi, Abolfazl Yaghoubi, Mahdi Khodabakhshi, Masoud Hajizavareh, Omid Amidi, Sajad Mardani, Armin Hadipour, Shokraneh Izadi and Akram Khodabandeh.
According to Bijan Moghanlou, head coach of the male team, 7 male athletes will participate in this event, Masoud Hajizavareh will not participate in this event due to his recent intensive schedule and old injuries.
The following athletes will participate in the male category of GP, Manchester:
-58 kg: Farzan Ashourzadeh and Armin Hadipour
-68 kg: Behnam Asbaghi and Abolfazl Yaghoubi
-80 kg: Mahdi Khodabakhshi
+80 kg: Omid Amidi and Sajjad Mardani
In the female category, according to Minoo Maddah, head coach of the female team, Kimia Alizadeh and Shokraneh Izadi will participate in this event in -57 kg and -67 kg.Akram Khodabandeh, however, cannot participate due to injury which occurred to her in GP, Turkey.
