2 Gold Medals and 1 Silver Medal for Iranian Deaf Taekwondo Athletes
The representatives of Iran succeeded in winning 2 Gold and 1 Silver medal in 8th Asia Pacific Deaf Games.
This event was held on 3-11 Oct. 2015 in Taoyuan, Chinese Taipei and Iran participated in it with 3 male and 2 female athletes.
Behzad Amiri grabbed the Gold medal of -68 kg after defeating the representatives of South Korea and Kazakhstan.
In -57 kg, Marzieh Khoshahval overpowered Korea and Kazakhstan and seized the Gold medal.
Meisam Abedi, -80 kg, lost the final match against South Korea and contented himself with Silver medal.
Hosseinali Naimi and Maryam Azarmehr accompanied Iran team in 8th Asia Pacific Deaf Games as head coach of male and female team.
