Iran Male Team Claimed the Title of 6th CISM World Games
The representatives of Iran won 9 medals in 6th CISM World Games and Iran male team stood on top of the podium.
6th CISM World Games which was held on 8-14 Oct. in South Korea brought 229 athletes from 43 countries together.
Iran Military team succeeded in winning 2 Gold, 4 Silver and 3 Bronze medals in total.
In the male category, which was composed of 8 athletes, Abolfazl Yaghoubi, -68 kg, and Sajad Mardani, +87 kg, won Gold medals; Mahdi Eshaghi, -54 kg, Hadi Tiranvalipour, -58 kg and Saeid Rajabi, -80 kg grabbed Silver and Seyed Mohammad Rafiei seized a Bronze medal.
Mohammadreza Zavar accompanied the male team as head coach and Rajabali Naimi, Jalal Chorouki and Seyed Mohammad Davoudi as coaches.
In the female category, which was composed of 4 athletes, Nahid Kiani, -46 kg achieved Silver and Hanieh Akhlaghi and Fatemeh Rohani gained Bronze medals.
Neda Zare accompanied the female team as head coach in this G-2 event.
