Mahdi Khodabakhshi will not go to Mexico
As WTF announced injured athletes are not allowed to participate in 2015 Final GP, Mahdi Khodabakhshi cannot participate in this event.
Final GP will be held on 5-6 Dec. in Mexico City. First 6 top ranked athletes in each weight category will receive the direct quota of 2016 Rio Olympic Games after this event.
Mahdi stands on the 1st rank of -80 kg and his quota of the Olympic Games is confirmed now because he has a big point difference from the second ranked athlete in this weight category.
Iran National team is participating in 2015 Final GP with the following athletes: Farzan Ashourzadeh (first Olympic weight category), Behanm Asbaghi (second Olympic weight category), Masoud Hajizavareh (third Olympic weight category) and Sajjad Mardani (fourth Olympic weight category).
Bijan Moghanlou will lead the team as head coach and Mehrdad Yousefi and Mahdi Bibak accompany the team as coaches.
