Best 2015 Awards according to Mastaekwondo
With 62,321 votes, Mastaekwondo readers gave their opinions and chose the ones who were the bests of the 2015. Totally, 45 candidates were chosen according to the results obtained in the key events of 2015.
Nominations were made based on the results achieved in 2015 Grand Prix Series, World Championships and Continental Games.
Panipak Wongpattanakit from Thailand was selected as the Best Female Athlete. Mahdi Khodabakhshi from Iran with the nickname ‘’Terminator’’ was voted as the Best Male Athlete.
Best Female Team title went to Egypt and Best Male team title went to Iran.
Julie Dib from Lebanon was selected as the Best Female Referee and Guillermo Rodriguez from Venezuela got the title of the Best Male Referee.
And finally, Aaron Cook from Moldova was chosen for the category of Best Kick of the Year
