Minister of Sport and Youth Paid a Visit to Camp of the National Team
The Minister of Sport and Youth, Dr. Goudarzi, paid a visit to camp of the male Taekwondo National team along with his deputy on 1 March 2016.
The male National team is getting prepared for Rio 2016 Olympic Games in Taekwondo House under the supervision of Bijan Moghanlou as head coach, Mehdi Bibak as coach and Mehrdad Yousefi as trainer.
Dr. Goudarzi was satisfied with the condition of National team camp and appreciated the technical officials of the team and the President of Taekwondo Federation for equipping the athletes with all their requirements. He wished best of luck for the shining athletes of Asia in Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
Farzan Ashourzadeh, Mahdi Khodabakhshi and Sajjad Mardani have already gained 2016 Olympic Games quota for Iran’s Taekwondo in -58 kg, -80 kg and +80kg respectively.
