17th Dispatch of the World Taekwondo Peace Corps
The TPC, headquartered in Seoul, is a foundation whose primary mission is to contribute to the world peace by cultivating and spreading the taekwondo spirit combined with Korean Culture around the world. Our core partners include government institutions, the National Taekwondo Federation, public educational institutions and many others.
The TPC has dispatched professional taekwondo volunteer members to countries all over the world. As of the last Winter dispatch (16th), the number of dispatched volunteers and member countries reached are 147 and 35, respectively.
The application period for the 17th Short-term, that will be held from July 11th to August 26th, 2016, and 7th Mid-term, that will be held from August 1st, 2016 to February 24th, 2017, has just opened.
The TPC foundation will offer financial support covering the round-trip airfare for dispatched volunteers. Anticipated partners are to cover the on-site expenses (food, transportation, accommodation etc.) for the dispatched volunteers during their stay.
The application form for summer dispatch program should be submitted no later than April 30th, 2016.
