Sajjad Mardani Won a Bronze in 1st President’s Cup
Sajjad Mardani, succeeded in winning a Bronze medal in 1st President’s Cup in +87 kg weight category. This G-2 event was held on 7-10 April 2016 in Bonn, Germany.
Sajjad could overcome the representative of Poland in the Golden point round after a rest and then hit the Russian athlete 4-5. Sajjad, however, withdrew from semi-final round due to injury.
Bijan Moghanlou accompanied Iran National team in 1st President’s Cup as head coach, assisted by Mehrdad Yousefi as coach.
Iran National team will participate in a joint camp with Spain National team in Madrid before heading to Castellon for taking part in Spanish Open.
