Visit of WTF Secretary General to the Camp of Iran National Team
WTF Secretary General, Hossein Rafary, visited the male and female camp of Iran National team that is getting prepared for the Rio Olympic Games on 11 July 2016.
After visiting the training session of the athletes, Rafaty said, ‘You have made a lot of efforts and been far from your family for a long time. I hope your hard work pays off and each of you gains the Gold medal of the Olympic Games because you deserve it. Due to my position in WTF, I should be neutral but I sincerely wish to see your victory in this significant event.’
He added, ‘Iranian females have also had an eye catching improvement in the recent 2 years. I appreciate Iran federation’s wise planning in this regard. The high motivation of Iranian girls like Kimia Alizadeh is going to build the future of Iran’s Taekwondo.’
Iran has gained 4 Olympic quota in the Olympic Games by Farzan Ashourzadeh, -58 kg, Mahdi Khodabakhshi, -80 kg, Sajjad Mardani, +80 kg and Kimia Alizadeh, -57 kg.
Bijan Moghanlou, Mahdi Bibak, Mehrdad Yousefi and Mahrou Komrani are going to accompany Iran’s Olympians in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
