Kimia Alizadeh Won her 5th Historical Medal



Kimia Alizadeh won the Bronze medal of -57 kg in Rio that was the first medal of the Iranian female athletes in the Olympic Games.

She gained this achievement by defeating the representative of Croatia 7-6, Thailand 14-10 and Sweden 5-1.

Mahrou Komrani accompanied Kimia Alizadeh in this event as coach.

Winning the Bronze medal of the Olympic Games was Kimia's 5th historical medal. She has also gained:

1st Gold medal of the World Junior Championships
1st Gold medal of the Youth Olympic Games
1st medal of the World Championships
1st medal of the Grand Prix
