Iran Won 2 Gold, 3 Silver and 6 Bronze Medals in the first 3 Days of the World Poomsae Championships
Iran National team succeeded in winning 11 medals in the first 3 days of the World Poomsae Championships.
This event, that is being held on 29 Sep. to 2 Oct. 2016 in Lima, Peru has brought 762 athletes from 52 countries together.
The following Iranian athletes have won medals of the World Poomsae Championships so far:
Female team 31-40: Atousa Farahmand, Sona Razaghi, Fariba Nazmdeh (Gold)
Female individual 31-40: Atousa Farahmand (Gold)
Male cadet: Sepehr Abdi (Silver)
Male individual 31-40: Ali Salmani (Silver)
Female team 18-30: Marjan Salahshouri, Mahsa Sadeghi, Fatemeh Ghasemi (Bronze)
Male team +31: Mohammadtaghi Hatami, Ali Salmani, Mahdi Samadiantabar (Bronze)
Male team 18-30: Mohammadjavad Kheiri, Ali Nadali, Kourosh Bakhtiar (Bronze)
Male individual 18-30: Mahdi Jamalifashi (Bronze)
Pair -30: (Bronze) Pair -18: (Bronze) Pair +31: (Silver)
Mohammadtaghi Hatami and Hamid Nazari accompanied the male team as head coach and coach, and Fatemeh Asadpour and Negar Mollamadakhani accompanied the female team as head coach and coach.
