Rabat - The first African host of Grand-Prix

The Rabat 2017 GP is very meaningful in that it will be the first Grand-Prix ever in continent of Africa.
WTF President- Dr. "Chungwon Choue" stated that; we are confident that the Rabat 2017 Grand-Prix will feature the world’s best taekwondo athletes, including Olympic and world champions, across eight different weight categories.
Grand-Prix draws high interest from both international media and general public as it serves as an indirect Olympic qualification event. Rest assured that the World Taekwondo and the Organizing Committee will do their utmost to ensure the success of the Rabat 2017 World Taekwondo Grand Prix.
