Safari grabbed the Silver Medal of the World Championships
Ebrahim Safari gained the Silver medal of 2016 World Championships in -51 kg with 5 wins.
This event has brought 800 athletes from 110 countries to Burnaby, Canada.
On his march to the final round, he defetead the representative of Serbia 22-0, India 18-0, Turkey 16-4 and USA 11-2.
In the semi final, he could overcome Chinese Taipei 16-4 but in the final round he was defeated by South Korea and was satisfied with a Silver medal.
