IRI National TKD Team finished its mission with 9 medals in Ashgabat
Tehran Sep 2017 – IRI National TKD Team achieved 9 medals at the end of 5th Asian indoor sports and Martial Arts in Ashgabat- Turkmenistan.
258 taekwondo athletes participated in the 5th Asian indoor sports and Martial Arts in Ashgabat- Turkmenistan and – IRI National TKD Team achieved 9 medals (6gold, 1silver, 2 bronze).
In male category: "Mahdi Eshaghi", "Soroush Ahmadi", "Mahdi Jalali", "Erfan Nazemi" and "Saeid Rajabi" got gold medal, "Hadi Tiran" achieved silver.
In female category: Parisa Javadi got gold medal, Tayyebeh Parsa and Fatemeh Maddahi got bronze medal.
The mentioned male team participated in the above event under the leadership of "Fariborz Askari" as head coach and "Alimohammad Boshagh" as its coach also female team took part under the leadership of "Mahroo Komrani" as its head coach.
Meanwhile, Taekwondo competitions in Kyorugi part were held on Sep 18th-21st 2017 in Ashgabat- Turkmenistan.
