The End of IRI National Men's Para Taekwondo Team Mission in London
Tehran Oct 2017-- IRI National Men's Para Taekwondo Team finished its mission with 3medals.
At the end of 7th edition of Para Taekwondo world championships was held in London, IRI National Men's Para Taekwondo Team participated with 5 athletes in the mentioned event and with the achievement of 3 medals (1gold by "Mahdi Poorrahnama", 2 bronze by "Ahmad Narimani"& "Saeid Sadeghianpoor") and 9 points stood on the fourth place. Russia with 11 medals ( 5gold, 1silver, 5 bronze) and 43 points got the second place, Turkey with 6 medals (1 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze) and 18 points got the third place. "Mahdi Poorrahnama" The gold medalist of the mentioned event achieved the best technical player title.
Meanwhile, the 7th edition of Para Taekwondo world championships was open and the number of participants was unlimited.
IRI National Men's Para Taekwondo Team participated in the 7th edition of Para Taekwondo world championships under the leadership of "Payam Khanlarkhani" as its head coach, "Mahdi Ahmadi" as its coach and "Masoud Lashgari" as its team leader. By the way, the mentioned event is G10 and the first, second and third places are awarded 100, 60 and 36 points to increase their ranking points to achieve Olympic quota.
