Nov 2017-- This inaugural event of World Taekwondo Grand Slam Champions Series shall feature World’s Top 12 Taekwondo athletes of each 8 Olympic weight categories including champions of Rio Olympic Games & Muju World Championships & Grand Prix Series.
World Taekwondo and the Organizing Committee will do their utmost to ensure the success of Wuxi 2017 World Taekwondo Grand Slam Champions Series as the prime event of World Taekwondo.

CONTEST TIME. All contests for women: 2 minutes x 3 rounds with 1 minute break ii. All contests for men before semi-final: 2 minutes x 3 rounds with 1 minute break iii. All contests for men from semi-final: 2 minutes x 5 rounds with 1 minute break.
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 athletes in the respective weight category of the pertinent competition: 1st place (1): gold medal & USD 70,000 Athlete: USD 49,000 Coach: USD 21,000 2nd place (1): silver medal & USD 20,000 Athlete: USD 14,000 Coach: USD 6,000 3rd place (1): bronze medal & USD 5,000 Athlete: USD 3,500 Coach: USD 1,500.
