Hammamet 2018 World Taekwondo Junior Championships



April 2018— World Junior championships will be held in Hammamet

It is a great pleasure to extend an invitation to your member national association to participate in the Hammamet 2018 World Taekwondo Junior Championships and World Taekwondo Qualification Tournament for Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games to be held on April 6-13, 2018 in Hammamet, Tunisia said Chungwon Choue WT President.

Method of competition: i. Single elimination tournament ii. Grade: G6 (Only for the World Taekwondo Junior Championships) iii. Number of Courts: Five (5) IV. Maximum quotas per MNA: One (1) athlete per weight division.

CONTEST TIME i. Option 1: 1 minute 30 seconds x 3 rounds with 1 minute break (in the event that the number of participating athletes is overwhelming and exceeds the expected number of athletes) for preliminaries till quarter-finals, and 2 minutes x 3 rounds with 1 minute break for semi-finals and finals. ii. Option 2: 2 minutes x 3 round with 1 minute break for all matches iii. Final decision will be announced at the head of team meeting after completion of registration.

VENUE: La Salle Couverte Hammamet
The championships will be held in two male and female divisions in 10 weight categories
