The 1st ever European "Hanmadang" will take place in Athens
June 2018-- The first ever "Hanmadang" will take place in Athens from 26 – 28 October 2018.
According to WTE website , The World Taekwondo Europe President "Sakis Pragalos" and the "Kukkiwon" World Taekwondo Headquarters President Oh Hyun Deuk signed today an agreement which makes the future organization of the "Hanmadang" in Europe a fact!
Next to Kukkiwon authorized Poomsae, there will be power breaking, high jump breaking, long jump breaking and all round breaking on the event program. Athletes in different age categories, starting from under 12 years up to over 60 years of age, can participate at this amazing event.
Not only the Hanmadang will be organized but also national and international referees can apply for the first Kukkiwon Hanmadang Referee seminar, in order to obtain an official Kukkiwon Referee certificate which allows officiating at future Hanmadang events.
Also a Special Dan Promotion test will take place in Athens.
