WT G-2 Open Qualification Tournament II for Wuxi 2018 World
Taekwondo Grand Slam Champions Series
Sep 2018-- the WT G-2 Open Qualification Tournament II for Wuxi 2018 World Taekwondo Grand Slam Champions Series, which is scheduled for October 26-28, 2018 in Wuxi, China.
According to WT official website, Through the three-day open qualification tournament II, top three (3) athletes in each Olympic weight category will be selected for the Wuxi 2018 World Taekwondo Grand Slam Champions Series, which will be held from December 9-16, 2018.
Rest assured that the World Taekwondo and the Organizing Committee will do their utmost to ensure the success of the WT G-2 Open Qualification Tournament II for Wuxi 2018 World Taekwondo Grand Slam Champions Series.
COMPETITION RULES WT Competition Rules shall be applied with some modification as stated article 8 of this outline-Additional 3 points will be added when referee counts for the opponent knocked down.
- No point gap for final and semi-final.
Method of competition:
Single elimination system, Grade: G-2
Number of athletes: No Limit
Number of courts: Base on the number of applicants.
Best of Three. 2 minutes x 3 rounds with 1 minute break.
- In case of 5 “Gam-jeom” and 20 points difference, the referee shall stop the contest and shall declare the winner. Any points and penalties after each round shall be reset as zero (0), however, number of “Gam-jeom” in each round shall be sum up as one of criteria for superiority - Best of Five in semi-final and final of Men’s competitions. 2 minutes x 5 rounds with 1 minute break.
