Hadipour & Mardani- The 2 Iranian representatives in Grand Slam 2018



Tehran Dec 2018—Hadipour & Mardani will participate in in Grand Slam 2018.

Armin Hadipour & Sajjad Mardani were selected to take part in 2nd edition of Grand Slam Champions Series event that will be held in Wuxi- China on December 12-16.
The 2nd edition of World Taekwondo Grand Slam Champions Series shall feature World’s Top 16 Taekwondo athletes of each 8 Olympic weight categories including champions of 2017 Grand Slam Champions Series and champions of 2018 Grand Prix Series.
Best of Three Rounds Method: Who won more round(s) out of three rounds shall be the winner of the match. In case of tie at the end of the third round a Golden Round shall take place. - Best of Five Round Method: Only for male Bronze medal contest and Final contest Best of Five Rounds shall be applied. In case of tie at the end of the fifth round a Golden Round shall take place. - Contest Time: 2 minutes per round with 1 minute break - In each round when a contestant reach 5 “Gam-jeom” or 20 points difference in score, the referee shall stop the contest and shall declare the winner of the round. Any points and Gam-jeom in each round shall be reset as zero, however, number of “Gam-jeom” in each round shall be sum up only for one of criteria for superiority in the Golden Round. - When referee count for the contestant’s knock down by the legal attack the scored contestant shall receive additional three points for the knock down.
Armin Hadipour & Sajjad Mardani will be participated in the mentioned event under the leadership of Seyed Nemat Khalife as head coach".
