IRAN announces lineup for 2019 Manchester World Taekwondo
Championships
The Taekwondo Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran has announced its lineup for 2019 world championships in Manchester.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Federation, the team is made up of 8 male and 6 female athletes. Iran's male team includes: Armin Hadipour (_54kg), Mohammad Hassan Palang Afkan(_58kg), Soroush Ahmadi_)63kg), Mir Hashem Hosseini_)68kg), Amir Mohammad Bakhshi(_74 kg), Mehran Barkhordari (_80 kg), Erfan Nazemi(_87 kg) and Sajjad Mardani(+87 Kg).
The Team is led by Fariborz Askari as the head coach and Ali Mohammad Boshagh and Vahid Abdollahi as the coaches. Iran's female team includes: Mahla Momenzadeh(_46 kg), Nahid Kiani(_49 kg), Parisa Javadi(_57 kg), Yalda Valinezhad_)62 kg), Kimia Hemmati(_67 kg), and Akram Khodabandeh(_73kg). Mahroo komrani is the head coach and Fatemeh Safarpour and Reyhaneh Fouladi are the coaches. The 24th World Taekwondo Championships will be held in Manchester, England, from May25, for 5 days.
