In the 2019 world Taekwondo Championships;
Armin Hadipour gains worthy World bronze medal
Armin Hadipour,the go-getter Iranian Taekwondo athlete, reached the World Championships Semifinal and stood third.
According to the Public Relation's dept. of the Taekwondo Federation of Iran, Armin who arrived in Manchester quite late due to the British embassy's unfriendly behavior, earned the world Bronze medal. Armin faced Russian athlete, Georgy Popov in the Semifinal and stood third. His rivals were Mahama Doli (NIG), Vadim Dimitrov (MDA), Ramnarong Sawekwiharee(THA) and Georgy Popov(RUS). The Team was led by Fariborz Askari as the head coach and Ali Mohammad Boshagh and Vahid Abdollahi as the coaches. The 24th World Taekwondo Championships (2019,15_19 May ) took place in Manchester, England, participated by more than 950 athletes from 150 nations plus one Refugee Team.
