Iran's Poomsae Squad collect 5 Bronze in 2019 Universiade
The Individual and the Team Poomsae competitions came to an end in Naples, Italy and Iran's Taekwondo team grabbed five Bronze medals in the world's largest multisport event for university athletes.
According to the Public Relation's department of the Iranian Taekwondo Federation, Some 6000 student athletes from 127 countries participated in the Summer Universiade 2019. The poomsae competitions were held on July 7 and 8 and Iranian squad collected their medals in the following categories: Two Bronze medals in Individual Poomsae: kourosh Bakhtiyar and Fatemeh Hesam, a further Bronze in Mixed Pair Poomsae: Amir Reza Mehraban and Marjan Salahshoori, the fourth Bronze in Men's Poomsae Team: Amir Reza Mehraban, kourosh Bakhtiyar and Ali Sohrabi, and the last Bronze in Women's Poomsae Team: Marjan Salahshoori, Fatemeh Hesam and Marjan Taji Rostamabadi. Hosein Ali Nazari is the male poomsae team head coach and the female poomsae team is led by Mahsa Mardani as the head coach.
