Iranian stand first in 3rd Asian Cadet Taekwondo Championship
The 3rd Asian cadet taekwondo championship came to the end and Iran's cadet squad in male and female division grabbed 9 Gold, 2 Silver, 5 Bronze medals and 148 points.
According to the Public Relation's department of the Iranian Taekwondo Federation, the 3rd Asian Cadet Taekwondo Championship was held on July 23_24 in Amman, Jordan and some 233 athletes competed in different categories. Iranian cadet with 148 points, 9 Gold, 2 Silver and 5 Bronze medals, winning the title for the third consecutive time in Iran's history and became the Asian champion; While South Korea and Thailand stood next with 109 and 99 points. South Korea with 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 3 Bronze medals stood second and Thailand with 4 Gold, 4 silver and 3 Bronze medals standing third. China Taipei and Kazakhstan stood on the fourth and fifth place respectively. Iran's cadet in male division grabbed 4 Gold, 2 Silver, 2 Bronze and 78 points. Iranian male cadet lineup is led by Morteza Karimi as the head coach and Yousef Jangjoo and Javad Khavari as the coaches. Female division gained 5 Gold, 2 Bronze and 70 points under the leadership of Azam Dorosti as the head coach and Mohammadnejad and Raziyeh Aghajanpour as the coaches.
