Glory of Iran by the little Taekwondo Heroes
At the end of 4th world Taekwondo Cadet Championships, held in Tashkent's Universal Sport's Palace, Iranian Taekwondo cadet was crowned with 7 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze medals, earned 818 points in female and 287 points in male division, achieving first and second world place.
According to the Public Relation's Department of the Iranian Taekwondo Federation, the 4th world Taekwondo Cadet Championships, were held in Uzbekistan's capital the historic city of Tashkent, on August 7_10, and Iran's Zahra Zarrin naal, Mobina Bakhshi Nezhad, Mobina Nematzadeh, Sanaz Abbaspour, Pooneh Jafarsalehi, Parnia Salmani and Abolfazl Abbasi grabbed 7 outstanding Gold, Setayesh Ghahremani and Amirhossein Norouzi achieved 2 Silver and Pooyan Jafarsalehi, Amirhossein Mataji, Mohammad Mahdi Taherkhani and Amirhossein Maleki gained 4 Bronze medals. Nearly 550 players fought in Tashkent and in all, 64 countries plus 1 refugee team represented on the mats. Iran's cadet female team with 818 points, reached the first place and the male cadet team with 287 points, got second place in the world. Meanwhile during the 3 previous editions, which were held in Baku –Azerbaijan(2014), Muju –Korea(2015) and Sharm El Sheikh –Egypt(2017), Iranian male cadet team got the champion once and vice- champion for 2 times, also female team stood on the first place for 2 times and achieved the third place once. Iran Cadet Female Team is led by Azam Dorosti as the head coach and Mahboube Mohamad Nezhad and Shohreh Khalajzadeh as the coaches and the Cadet Male Team is under the leadership of Morteza Karimi as the head coach and Mohammadreza Yari and Mohammad Alavi as the coaches.
