Iranian Female Taekwondo Athletes grab 7 Medals in 7th Turkish Open Taekwondo Tournament
The 7th Turkish Open Taekwondo Tournament ended while Iranian female taekwondo team won 2 gold and 5bronze medals of this event.
The 7th International Turkish of Taekwondo Open Tournament started in two categories (Kiorugi & Poomsaes) and in three age groups (Cadet, Junior, Senior) on February 3, 2020 in Istanbul, Turkey for 5 days.
The Iranian team was made up of : Ghazal Soltani F-49kgs,Nahid Kiani F- 53kgs,Tina Modanloo F-57 Kgs, Tayebeh Parsa F-62 kgs and Kimiya Hemmati, Melika Mirhosseini and Yalda Valinejad F- 67 kgs, Zeynab Esmaeeli & Akram Khodabaneh in F-73 kgs.
At the end of the competitions, Iranian female taekwondo team could win 2 gold medals in F-49 & F-53 kgs ( Ghazal Soltani, Nahid Kiyani) and 5 bronze medals in F- 57,-62,-67,-73 kgs ( Tina Modanloo, Tayebeh Parsa, Yalda Valinejad, Zeynab Esmaeeli & Akram Khodabandeh).
The team is led by Mahroo Komrani as the head coach and Fatemeh Safarpoor and Reyhaneh Fooladi as coaches.
The Turkish tournament is a G1 event and the three medalists gain 10, 6, 3.60 points, respectively.
