WT Asia Requests postponement of Iran’s International Events in Kish
Due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus worldwide and following a request by the WT Asia, the Iranian Taekwondo Federation has accepted to postpone the Asian taekwondo Clubs championships, Fajr Open Cup and the Asian taekwondo Open, previously scheduled to be held in Kish Island.
The 10th Asian Taekwondo Clubs Championships (G1) was scheduled to be held on April 16, 2020, the 31st Fajr Open (G1) on April 18-19, 2020, and the 3rd Asian Taekwondo Open Championships (G1) on April 22-23, 2020.
The coronavirus pandemic has already affected the Asian championships, to be hosted by Lebanon in March, as well as the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
