Preparation of Police Agency for 2017 WTF World Taekwondo Championships
Police force prepared itself for the successful opening of international events which are in grand scale.
International Event Safety Team would be a ‘control tower’ that direct all guard system during period of events.
They will collect base line data about related facilities. On March and April, They will confirm the plan and start on education. Joint training preventing terrorism and FTX on field are planned on May, 2017.
The international event security team establishes comprehensive measures for possibility that may occur during the event such as terrorist attacks as well as establishing a hotline for security cooperation and safety activities.
Chief "Jo Hee-hyun" said, “As festivals of grand scale would progress, International Event Safety Team should do their utmost effort because the most important thing for international events is safety.
We will do our best and show the dignity of Korean National Police Agency".
