At the beginning of opening ceremony of 28th Fajr Open, the message of Minister of sport and youth was read
In the name of God
Sport as an effective social phenomenon in all societies has a special position that should be developed by the means of right recognition ways.
Hosting important events and participating in them, is one of those ways.
In accordance with the ministry of sport and youth attention to this subject and efforts of sport federations to implement suitable plans, many activities have been done whose results are our athletes' achievements in important sport events.
Taekwondo federation in accordance with this subject has had a good development in recent years and with significant results makes people glad and I hope that success will continue.
So it is our honor to hold the Fajr open with the history of 3 decades and being in WTF calenderers as one of the oldest and the validest taekwondo events for 28 years in the world and Asia.
I appreciate all Iranian taekwondo officials for holding the 28th edition of Fajr open and also it is my pleasure to warmly welcome all athletes, coaches, team leaders, technical delegate and domestic &international referees who participate in the mentioned event.
