WTF Technical Delegate to the 24th Fajr Open
Iran Can Host World Championships
The World Taekwondo Federation, WTF-appointed technical delegate to the 24th Fajr International Taekwondo Open has highlighted the capacity of the Iranian Taekwondo Federation to host world level championships, such as the World Cup and World Championships, given the good facilities and potentials of Iranian Taekwondo Federation and Iranian athletes.
Major General Ahmed Fouly, who is also the president of the Egyptian
Taekwondo Federation, the president of the African Taekwondo Union,
and the WTF Vice President, also termed Iranian athletes as
“excellent”, saying “you can almost trace the footsteps of Iranian
athletes in every final match held in world championships.”
General Fouly also thanked the Organizing Committee of the 24th Fajr
International Taekwondo Open for holding the competitions in a
disciplined manner.
